Getting to Marine Park

As Brooklyn’s largest park, finding Marine Park isn’t quite like searching for a needle in a haystack, but at the same time it doesn’t have the high profile of say Central Park. If you and your dog want to spend a day enjoying the outdoors in New York’s lesser known natural gem, just follow these simple directionsFrom I-278 W:

  1. Take exit 26 to merge onto Hamilton Ave Partial toll road (.9 mi)
  2. Turn left at 17th St (.3 mi)
  3. Turn left onto the State New York 27 E ramp (449 ft.)
  4. Merge onto NY-27 E (1.1 mi)
  5. Continue onto Prospect Expy (.5 mi)
  6. Continue onto Ocean Pkwy (1.4 mi)
  7. Turn left at Avenue J (1.5 mi)
  8. Turn right at Flatbush Ave (1.0 mi)
  9. Turn right at Avenue R (.3 mi)
  10. Turn left at E 37th St (.1 mi)

From I-678 S:

  1. Take exit 1W toward Verrazano Bridge (.4mi)
